I am renowned for my love of two things - travelling to exotic destinations and my two cocker spaniels - Huckleberry and Mickey Finn. Being an ex-international swimmer I am keen on all things aquatic, including scuba diving and sailing. I play cricket badly and guitar even worse.

You may recognise my distinctive voice and wonder why it sounds so familiar. Well, the truth can now be told. I am the true identity of GWR FM's Dr Mike Harris, an item that I have written and performed for over 6 years on the radio station. I have also worked on a few television programmes for HTV and written articles for Bristol's local daily newspaper.

Once the youngest Doctor on the team at Kennedy Way Surgery, I am now firmly set in "Medical Middle Age", though you'd never have guessed it if you've seen my trade mark footwear!
