Maternity Care
Provision of pre-natal, ante-natal and post-natal care is shared between our Doctors, Midwives and Health Visitors. Our Doctors hold higher qualifications. We believe in personal care, so most of your care is given in the Practice. The Midwives will ensure that you know the name of the Midwife responsible for your care.
Antenatal Clinics are held every week
We work in association with Hospital Maternity Units for delivery, but some home births are still done. You will be given your antenatal records for which you are responsible. We have our own ultra sound scanner for basic maternity work.
Parent Craft and Relaxation Classes are available. Support will be given to you for your chosen feeding method. Consideration will be given to your religious and cultural beliefs.
