Flu Vaccinations

Flu vaccinations are offered to all over 65 year olds, starting in October.

Those at increased risk are particularly encouraged - those with asthma, bronchitis, heart disease, diabetes, emphysema or kidney disease, or those who are on drugs that suppress the immune system.

Please enquire at reception for further details or for an appointment.

A pneumococcal vaccination is also recommended in this group of people. It protects against certain types of pneumonia. You only usually require a one off dose.
