Transport to Hospitals

There is a bus service from Chipping Sodbury to Frenchay Hospital.

The bus used is fully accessible for those with disabilities. On parts of the route that have no fixed bus stops the driver will stop on request where it is safe to do so. Please give a clear signal to the driver when you see the bus approach.

The North Bristol NHS Trust provides a free hourly bus link between Frenchay and Southmead Hospitals for patients and staff. The bus stop is located outside the Day Case Unit at Frenchay Hospital.

There are regular buses from the Link Road to Bristol Bus Station, which is in very close proximity to the Bristol Eye Hospital, the Bristol Children's Hospital and the Bristol Royal Infirmary.

There is a free hospital bus from outside the Eye Hospital which will take you to St. Michael's Hospital. This bus runs at approximately 20 minute intervals.
