Telephone AdviceIf you would like advice please tell the receptionist and a doctor or nurse will ring you back. They may sometimes relay a message via a member of staff. ReceptionistsOur receptionists do a difficult job very well. They are responsible for the smooth running of the practice and have to balance the needs of the doctors with those of the patient. Please remember, if you are kept waiting or asked irritating questions they are only doing their best to help you. If you are feeling very unwell while waiting to see the DoctorPlease tell the receptionist and she will make arrangements for you to lie down until the doctor can attend to you. Test ResultsIf you are calling for the result of a blood test, x-ray or other investigation please allow a week and ring after 11am. If the doctor feels he needs to speak to you urgently about a result you will be contacted by the practice. ReferralsYou are entitled to a copy of any referral letters sent on your behalf. Please ask at Reception for details. You will be asked for photographic proof of identity. There is a nominal charge for copies. |
