Patient Access enables you to view your medical record at home or at work, with instant access also via your Smartphone with the Patient Access App. Ask at reception for details or visit: Patient.co.uk/access. Please note that, you will need to be provided with a Username and Password.
This practice currently offers patients facilities to book, view, amend, cancel and print appointments online via Informatica Front Desk Software (a username and password is required).
This practice currently offers the facility for all patients to order online, view and print a list of their repeat prescriptions or medicines and appliances via Informatica Front Desk Software (a username and password is required).
This practice currently offers the facility for all patients to view online, export or print any summary information from their record, relating to medications, allergies, adverse reactions and any other items agreed between the practice and individual patient, via EMIS Web, Patient Access Software (a separate username and password is required to the one above as it is via different software).
This practice uses GP2GP to transfer patient records when patients move practice.
The practice plans to upload information daily to the Summary Care Record system (for those patients who have not opted out). South Gloucestershire CCG are starting the SCR roll out with a view to implementing the SCR at Kennedy Way Surgery from February/March 2015, subject to the availability of supporting guidance, NHS GP systems and software.
The plan is for all practices to be uploading by March 2015. We will publicise and promote this service to our practice patients through the practice website, practice waiting room leaflets, posters and the Patient Participation Group by March 2015.
We were inspected by the CQC on 19th July 2013 and passed the inspection with all standards being met.
